Bags of fun to be had with over 350 different Showbags to suit all tastes, interests and ages at the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show

On Tuesday 10 September, Melbourne Royal revealed its highly anticipated lineup of showbags for the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show as preparations are under way for Victoria’s most loved community and agricultural event from Thursday, 26 September until Sunday, 6 October.

Assistant Treasurer Danny Pearson joined the 2024 Face of the Show, Mac Martello, and his Grade 3 classmates from Beaconsfield Primary School for a first look at a selection of the 350-plus showbags that will be on offer at the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show.

Being the largest showbag pavilion in the Southern Hemisphere, visitors will discover there’s showbags to suit all tastes, interests and ages, starting from just $5, such as Bertie Beetle and Cadbury’s chocolate range including the Dairy Milk, Curly Wurly, Freddo and Crunchie bags.

There are 16 bags available for $5 and some of the best value showbags include Men’s Essential and Women’s Essential, with more than $520 of value for just $28.

Other fantastic offers include the Cadbury Family Deal where visitors can purchase five showbags for $20 or the Family Fun deal offering five showbags for $25. Exclusive new releases to the Melbourne Royal Show include Wicked, Ultimate Fidgets, Rick and Morty, Mermaids and LOL Surprise showbags.

Anticipated best sellers for 2024 include family favourite licensed characters like Bluey, Frozen, Barbie, Harry Potter, along with AFL, and NBA sporting teams, which offer over $90 in retail value for between $32–$36.

All showbags are thoroughly inspected by the Office of Consumer Affairs, City of Melbourne and Victoria Police who work together to ensure the highest of safety standards and laws are adhered to.
