Accessibility & Onsite Facilities
Melbourne Showgrounds is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. Here’s a look at the accessibility and inclusion resources to help you prepare for your visit to the Melbourne Royal Show.
Accessibility & Inclusion
There are 48 accessible parking bays available on-site at the Melbourne Showgrounds. These accessible car parking bays are available during the Show from 9.30am daily and can be accessed via the VIP & Accessible Carpark (off Leonards Crescent) until capacity is reached.
If you require an accessible spot, please notify the car park attendant upon arrival so that they can allocate one if available. In the event the on-site accessible parking has reached capacity patrons will have the option to drop off passengers by the accessible entrance via the VIP & Accessible Carpark.
Additional accessible parking is available off-site within Flemington Racecourse. Patrons utilising this car park are advised that there is a short walk via the rail underpass from the parking bays to the nearest Show entrance via Gate 9. There are some rest areas along the way, however where possible it is recommended that passengers who may find this journey challenging are dropped off in the above-mentioned zone to provide ease of access to the Show.
Parking must be purchased (at a cost of $30) on the day you are attending and cannot be pre-booked. Patron’s parking in accessible bays must have a valid Australian Disability Parking permit on display.
The accessible drop off location for patrons arriving via Taxi or Ride Share will be via the Epsom Road Entrance.
The location will be marked on the Show map once it is released closer to the Show.
