Royal Melbourne Heritage Centre

What facilities are available for parents?
We understand the needs of parents and carers and want to make your visit as comfortable and convenient as possible.
During the Melbourne Royal Show, three Parent Rooms will be available across the Showgrounds. Locations are clearly marked on the Show map, which will be released closer to the 2026 Show.
Each Parent Room provides:
- Private breastfeeding and feeding spaces
- Baby change facilities
- Facilities for warming bottles and baby food
- Access to handwashing facilities
Our Parent Rooms are designed to provide a clean, comfortable and welcoming space for families to care for young children throughout their visit.
How long should I allow for a family day at the Show?
There’s plenty to see, do and discover, so make a day of it. Arrive early and give yourself time to enjoy the Show at your own pace.
Is there something for older kids and teens?
Absolutely. Alongside family favourites, there are rides, Showbags, live entertainment and action-packed experiences like the FMX Stunt Show, The Drover’s Tale and more.
