A relaxed sit-down dining experience exclusively for Melbourne Royal Members, serving delicious food in a comfortable setting. Must have a valid Melbourne Royal Membership to enter.

Can I purchase products to take home?

Yes. Gourmet Pantry & Cellar features a range of Australian food, beverage and artisanal products that you can purchase to take home, including local produce, handcrafted chocolates and other gourmet finds.

Are there dietary-friendly options available?

Yes. There are a range of food options across the Showgrounds, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and other dietary-friendly choices. We recommend checking with individual vendors about specific ingredients and dietary requirements.

Can I meet local producers?

Absolutely! Gourmet Pantry & Cellar brings together Australian producers and artisanal makers, where you can discover their products and meet the people behind them.

Where can I find food at the Show?

Food is everywhere! Visit Coca-Cola Eat Street, Gourmet Pantry & Cellar, CWA Café and Bianco Italian Piazza, or grab a bite from the food vendors throughout the Showgrounds.

Can I bring my own lunch to the Melbourne Royal Show?

Certainly! You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the Melbourne Royal Show.  

Please note that glass and breakable containers are strictly not permitted, and all other drink containers must be sealed, except for reusable water bottles which must be empty upon entry.

How do I make a reservation for the Members Bistro?

The Melbourne Royal Members Bistro is open daily from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, with the last seating at 8:00pm. Guests must present their valid Melbourne Royal Membership to enter. We recommend booking your table before arriving at the Show.

Can I bring alcohol to the Show?

No, outside alcohol cannot be brought onto the Melbourne Showgrounds during the Melbourne Royal Show. However, designated areas are available where you can purchase and enjoy alcoholic beverages. 

Will cash be accepted at the Melbourne Royal Show?

Cash is considered legal tender and should be accepted at all outlets throughout the Melbourne Showgrounds during the Melbourne Royal Show. However, please note that there may be some commercial stands that choose not to accept cash. We do not have a way of determining in advance which stands will or won’t accept cash. ATMs will also be accessible throughout the Show for cash withdrawals.
