Certainly! You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the Melbourne Royal Show.
Please note that glass and breakable containers are strictly not permitted, and all other drink containers must be sealed, except for reusable water bottles which must be empty upon entry.
The Melbourne Royal Members Bistro is open daily from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, with the last seating at 8:00pm. Guests must present their valid Melbourne Royal Membership to enter. We recommend booking your table before arriving at the Show.

No, outside alcohol cannot be brought onto the Melbourne Showgrounds during the Melbourne Royal Show. However, designated areas are available where you can purchase and enjoy alcoholic beverages.
Cash is considered legal tender and should be accepted at all outlets throughout the Melbourne Showgrounds during the Melbourne Royal Show. However, please note that there may be some commercial stands that choose not to accept cash. We do not have a way of determining in advance which stands will or won’t accept cash. ATMs will also be accessible throughout the Show for cash withdrawals.
