Exhibitor Case Study: Keating & Co. Condiments

Dec and Dom Keating are brothers with a passion for great food and the founders of Keating & Co. Condiments, a proudly Australian brand now stocked around the country.

After growing up in North East Victoria, both brothers relocated to Melbourne, with Coburg now their place of business and the place they call home. Keating & Co. Condiments was created after discovering a shared love for cooking and growing their own produce, but in many ways, the business has been years in the making. Family and friends have always been at the centre of what they do, with gatherings often involving preparing and cooking their own food. Over time, family recipes evolved into new creations and eventually into a growing product range.

Today, Keating & Co. Condiments offers 18 sauces and eight condiments stocked around Australia.

The Melbourne Royal Show has played a significant role in the brand’s growth. 2026 will mark the brothers’ third year exhibiting at the Show, following two successful years on site.

“Over the two previous years we have seen on most days a 200% increase in sales from our first year exhibiting to our second. Not only were we experiencing repeat customers from the previous year but also welcoming new customers. We think we can expect our following at the show to continue to grow as we have more customers specifically attending just to restock our product.”

The impact extended beyond on-site sales. Increased customer engagement during the Show also translated to social media growth.

“More customers lead to more social media engagement, we encourage our customers to share their purchases and meals using our products on their social media and we saw a spike in this and new followers during the show.”

Exhibiting at the Melbourne Royal Show has also opened the door to valuable business connections.

“Over the two shows we have exhibited at we have been approached by many stockists for wholesale enquiries and invitations to other events. You never know who is going to walk through the door at these events. We have made some amazing contacts.”

Strong presentation has been another key factor in their success.

“Presentation is everything, our big, bright and bold colours and design for our stand can be seen from a mile away. This really helped attract customers and created more foot traffic and buzz around our stall over the course of the 11 days.”

Their experience exhibiting was capped off with a major milestone in 2025.

“Our time at The Melbourne Royal Show continues to be an amazing experience for us. Winning the Best Exhibitor award in 2025 will go down as one of Keating & Co.’s greatest achievements. We would proudly recommend the experience to other exhibitors.”
