Competition details

Who is eligible to enter the competition?

To enter the competition, you must be a Victorian resident and the consenting parent or guardian of a child aged 8 – 12. Yourself and the child must be available for media appearances and other scheduled events in the lead up to and during the Melbourne Royal Show (25 September – 5 October 2025).

How do I enter the competition?

To enter, complete the entry form on the Melbourne Royal Show website before 18 March 2025. You will need to provide basic contact information, a two-minute video answering a set of questions and a headshot of the applicant, showing us their most excited, Show-ready face.

When will the winners be announced?

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone on March 27 2025. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email.

What does the prize include?

The two Show Reps will receive:

  • Four Melbourne Royal Full Membership passes (2 adults, 2 children)
  • A $400 food & beverage voucher
  • A $200 rides pass
  • A $200 showbag voucher
  • Four tickets to the Melbourne Royal Show President’s Luncheon
  • Three nights’ accommodation for the winner and a guardian (for those living 30km or more from the Showgrounds)
  • Invitations to exclusive events, such as the Show Launch, Showbag Launch, and Show Preview Day
What are the media appearance and event commitments?

The two Show Reps must be available for several scheduled events, including:

  • Media Launch, Showbag Launch, Media Preview Day, Show Opening Day, and President’s Luncheon
  • Two half-days at Show to film
  • Three ad-hoc media appearances
