Individuals are welcome to volunteer at the Melbourne Royal Show in a variety of roles that have been developed to reflect and enhance individuals’ particular skills, expertise and/or interests. These roles are varied and may or may not require preparatory training, specialised skills or knowledge.
Roles include:
Animal Nursery Assistants will help keep the animals in, the visitors moving and everyone safe, happy and having a great time.
The Gateside Greeters team warmly welcome Show visitors, help families and children with wristbands and guidance on what is where.
Town Square Assistant will have a ball helping with the exciting games set up and assisting patrons as they enjoy the live music into the evening.
Volunteer Team Leader will help with queues, questions and re-assuring anyone scared of dinosaurs!
Animal Activation Assistants will ensure the safe and smooth running of these popular kid-friendly activities.
The Spotlight Create Space Assistants will help out in this hands-on workshop area that changes crafting activities daily.
