Limited Disabled parking is available at Flemington Racecourse. Please note, the entrance to the Show from Flemington Racecourse can be quite steep and it is recommended that patrons drop off in Leonard Crescent near Gate 5.
All pavilions at the Show are wheelchair accessible and there are areas for wheelchairs at Herald Sun Arena.

Baby Change Rooms
There are facilities for parents in a number of locations:

There are also baby change pull down tables in several toilets onsite.
There are microwaves in two of the parents' rooms onsite - the one underneath Pie in the Sky and the one behind the Family Fun Pavilion.
Route 472 Bus (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops at Charles Street / Epsom Road, Ascot Vale - a short 300m from the main entrance (Gate 1) of Melbourne Showgrounds. Or if traveling route 472 towards Williamstown, stop at Francis Street/ Union Road Ascot Vale.
Route 404 Bus (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops at the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads - a short 200m walk to the main entrance.
Carer card holders coming to the Show with the person they are caring for will be admitted free to the Royal Melbourne Show.
Companion Card holders are eligible to purchase the concession rate entry into the Show and bring a carer into the Show with them for free.
Valid concession cards for purchasing Royal Melbourne Show tickets include seniors, secondary, tertiary and school students, students of agriculture, pensioners, companion card holders and health care card holders (with valid ID).

The fireworks will run every night of the Royal Melbourne Show (weather permitting) on Herald Sun Arena. If the fireworks are cancelled due to the weather, an announcement will be made and patrons will also be notified via Facebook.
First Aid facilities are located at the following locations: underneath Pie in the Sky, entrance to the Show from the train station, at the southern end of The Farmhouse.

- In front of The Animal Farmyard on Nine News Boulevard
- Each Entrance to the Show

Information Booths will be open from 9:30am – 9:00pm daily, except for the Gate 1 entrance which will be open 9:30am - 7:00pm.

Lockers are available to hire in several locations around the Show. Lockers are an easy and convenient way to store your goods and enjoy the rest of your day at the Show. Prices range from $2 a day for one use only and from $8 for all day use.
There is a lost property office located at the Info Booth under the Pie in the Sky. If you do not locate your lost item whilst at the Show, you can also contact our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Royal Melbourne Show will be open from 9:30am - 9pm every day from Saturday 23 September - Tuesday 3 October 2017.
Parking during the Royal Melbourne Show is available at Flemington Racecourse for $25 a day. Entry to the car park is via Epsom Rd or Smithfield Rd, with access to the Show via the rail underpass. The Epsom Rd car park is open from 7am-11pm and the Smithfield Rd car park is open from 8.30am-11pm.
Open from 9:30am - 9pm daily, there are facilities for parents in a number of locations:
- Lost Persons Centre (near Pie in the Sky)
- Portable Building Family Fun Pavilion
- At the back of the Showbag Pavilion opposite the Railway Entrance
- Near the ATM outside the Winning Tastes Pavilion
There are also baby change pull down tables in several toilets onsite.
Due to the number of animals at the Show, pets are not permitted at the Royal Melbourne Show.
Prams are available for hire from stands on the Nine News Boulevard near the Winning Tastes Pavilion and near the Coca-Cola Thrillseekers Carnival for $15 a day.
Police assistance is available at the Show at all times during opening hours. Police are located in the Adventure Carnival.
Security can be contacted from any of the information booths or by customer service staff.
The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is a member based organisation that promotes and celebrates agriculture through events which link industry with consumers. RASV ultimately aims to improve the quality and increase demand for Victorian agriculture produce. For more information, visit the RASV website.
Melbourne Showgrounds is a completely smokefree venue applying to the 2017 Royal Melbourne Show.
The policy helps protect the community from exposure to and illness resulting from second-hand smoke, remove litter from cigarette butts and reduce fire hazards.
Patrons and other visitors to the site wanting to smoke must do so outside of the event gates.
The implementation of the new smoke-free policy is part of RASV’s commitment to creating a healthier and more enjoyable environment for exhibitors, event patrons and staff.
There are no public telephones onsite at the Show. Should you need to make an emergency phone call please go to an information booth.
Trains depart Flinders Street Station and stop at Southern Cross and North Melbourne Stations.
On weekdays, trains will run every 10 minutes between 9:10am and 11:30am, every 15 minutes between 11:30am and 4:30pm and every 20 minutes between 4:30pm and 10:30pm.
On Saturdays and Sundays, trains will run every 10 minutes between 9:10am and 6:00pm and every 15 minutes between 6:15pm and 10:30pm.
Catch Tram number 57 from the corner of Flinders & Elizabeth streets to Melbourne Showgrounds on Epsom Road (stop 32 or 33). Travel time is approximately 25 minutes.
