Is this real life? Road-testing showbags is something you would only dream about.
One lucky Victorian primary school class will have their Show dreams come true as they're the first to get their hands on this year's showbags before the Royal Melbourne Show opens.
We're so excited about the all-new layout ahead of this year’s event which will see the showbags hall move to a bigger pavilion at the centre of the Show.
We're looking for a primary school class to help unveil this year's showbags at the showgrounds on Friday, 23 August 2019.
With over 350 varieties of showbags to choose from, there is something for everyone to enjoy at this year's Show.
Here's how to get in on the action
To be in the draw to attend the showbag reveal at 9.30am on 23 August 2019 at Melbourne Showgrounds, kids just need to describe in 100 words or less what they predict the Royal Melbourne Show will look like in 50 years time.
Parents, students and teachers can submit entries to the showbag unveiling competition to firstname.lastname@example.org by 3pm on Friday, August 16.
The winning class will need to organise its own transport to the showgrounds for the excursion.
This year’s show will also feature a new Jurassic creatures pavilion with interactive dinosaurs and a futuristic pavilion that incorporates immersive technology.
The 2019 Royal Melbourne Show opens on 21 September and runs until 1 October 2019.
