The Royal Melbourne Show returns for another unforgettable year, held from Saturday 22 September to Tuesday 2 October at Melbourne Showgrounds.
Conducted annually by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the Royal Melbourne Show is the largest and most iconic annual community event that celebrates Victoria and excellence in agriculture. Visitors will be entertained from morning to night, with a wide variety of all-inclusive, interactive and fun activities and attractions.
With loads of new and exciting things to do and see, the 2018 Show offers a huge variety of unique experiences that are sure to be unforgettable. There’s more opportunity to get up close with animals at the Royal Melbourne Show’s many animal precincts, where guests can pat, feed and cuddle favourite farm friends.
Budding farmers are invited to try their hand at sheep shearing and milking cows in The Farmhouse, while those who prefer to enjoy from afar are encouraged to visit The Animal Farmyard to see their favourite farm animals roaming their paddocks. Everybody’s favourite Animal Nursey promises an adorable line-up of baby animals to feed, pat and get a photo with.
Taste buds will be treated at the Winning Tastes Pavilion, where a diverse offering of award- winning food and drink, from some of the best providers in Australia will be on offer. For those eager to acquire new culinary skills, the MasterChef set offers visitors the opportunity to learn tips and tricks from the experts, with cooking demonstrations and beverage masterclasses. Finally, the Woolworths Fresh Food Pavilion will offer a selection of cuisines from all-around the world so diverse it’s guaranteed to please even the pickiest of eaters.
Tickets to the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show will provide all-inclusive entertainment, with more surprise and delight than ever. The Royal Melbourne Show gates will open daily from 9:30am to 9:00pm, with all pavilions open from 10:00am.
