CHAMPION DRIFTWAY TIME N AGAIN named Best in Show

CHAMPION DRIFTWAY TIME N AGAIN exhibited by Mr G Spagnolo, NSW has been awarded Best in Show at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Show All Breeds Championship Show today.

Presented by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) in conjunction with DOGS Victoria, the Royal Melbourne Show All Breeds Championship Show is one the largest shows of its kind in the southern hemisphere, with over 3500 entries and 1,300 exhibitors competing for a prestigious Royal Melbourne blue ribbon.

In other awards presented today ‘Best Breeders Group in Show’ was awarded to the PULI breed group exhibited by Royson Valore, NSW.

‘Best Baby Puppy in Show’ went to KASADECAV ARKHAMS E NYGMA (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) exhibited by Miss C T Taylor, VIC and Best Puppy in Show CHAMPION PICARDY POINT OF VIEW (Standard Poodle) by exhibitors Mr M & Mrs L Boyd and Miss J Foulds, NSW.

“The Royal Melbourne Show All Breeds Championship Show attracts outstanding entries from across the country, so it is a significant achievement to be awarded Best in Show,” said Mr O’Sullivan.

“On behalf of RASV, I congratulate all the exhibitors who have taken part in this prestigious event and particularly commend the connections of Champion Driftway Time N Again on being awarded this honour.”

The All Breeds Championship Show, which has been in competition since last Saturday and wraps up tomorrow, attracts some of the best judges in the world with this year’s panel including Warner Cespedes Arias (Costa Rica), Virginia Lyne (Canada), Dusan Paunovic (Serbia) and Fabian Daza (Colombia).

“The All Breeds Championship Dog Show is one of the leading dog shows in the world that continues to grow in prestige and participation and we are delighted to have hosted of some of the world’s best judges this year.

“The competition also would not be possible without the outstanding dedication of our committee and stewards and the valuable support of ADVANCE.”

The Royal Melbourne Show is Victoria’s largest and more iconic annual community event and continues until Tuesday 3 October 2017 at Melbourne Showgrounds.
