The Royal Melbourne Show officially launched the sale of 2018 tickets today, Tuesday 17 July, by hosting a media call at the Showgrounds train station platform in Ascot Vale.
Providing detail on this year’s Show offering, value and ticketing promotions, the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show ticket launch was a colourful celebration with a sneak peek of some of the food and agriculture that guests will experiences to be enjoyed at the Show, including a variety of farm animals.
To kick off the Royal Melbourne Show, and in his first media appearance in this role, newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria, Paul Guerra, spoke to this year’s Show offering including; value; and ticketing promotions.
“The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria is committed to providing visitors with even greater family value this year. We have reduced the price of family tickets by 10 per cent from 2017, on top of ensuring no increase on all other ticket prices. We’re confident that we have a ticket to suit every Showgoer.
“When it comes to receiving a great saving, we encourage getting online early to save up to 20 per cent, and even more for RACV members.” Mr Guerra said.
The 2018 Royal Melbourne Show promises the most entertaining year to date with an array of new and unforgettable additions to the Show, including a food and drink precinct, entertainment and agricultural offerings.
“Your ticket to the Show provides all-inclusive fun; with live demonstrations, celebrity meet andgreets, brand new precincts, exciting stunts and demonstrations from talented performers and of course an opportunity to get up close to a wide variety of truly amazing animals.” Mr Guerra said.
The 2018 Royal Melbourne Show will kick off from Saturday 22 September through until Tuesday 2 October for an unforgettable 11 days of fun and entertainment.
