Rides, Amusements and Showbags await those looking to join us in #celebratingtheshow Online.
The hugely popular annual Rule the Rides competition, where the winners would normally attend the Show and judge the rides, would traditionally be on this day of Show....look out for the virtual Rule the Rides competition!

Today, the Humans of Agriculture podcast features Doug and Lorelle Deppeler, who have spent a lifetime exhibiting Suffolk and White Suffolk Sheep.
Day 4 Tuesday 22 September - Alpacas, Poultry and Sheep
Alpacas, sheep and poultry – do you know how difficult it is to get the perfect photo of these beautiful creatures?
Enjoy viewing some interviews with Sheep, Fleece, Alpaca and Poultry experts, including Alf Woods who at 93 years of age has been exciting poultry at the Royal Melbourne Show for more than 70 years!
What's more - you can get into the spirit of celebrating agricultural competitions by introducing you to the winners of the Online Sheep Junior Judging Competition, which has pitted the best up and coming sheep farming youth against some expert Royal Melbourne Show judges! Day 5 Wednesday 23 September - Horses in Action sponsored by Tuffrock
The annual Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout - one of the most prestigious equestrienne events in Australia is usually held on day five of the Show.
Celebrating the Show Online Ambassador, Lyndsey Douglas interviews two of the Royal Melbourne Show Horses in Action competitors, including 2011 winner of the Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout, Stephanie Barrington. Whilst horse owners will have the chance to win 1 of 4 $250 Tuffrock vouchers in the fancy dress horse and rider competition.
The Humans of Agriculture podcast features one of Australian agricultures brightest young stars in Aimee Bolton. Aimee is heavily involved in the agricultural industry, with a particular passion for the livestock and red meat sectors.

Today, the best dogs of Show would’ve been strutting around the ring looking amazing!
Dress up your dog up in a fancy-dress outfit and post a picture to the Royal Melbourne Show Facebook with a caption of your choice, tagging @BlackHawkPetCare and using the hashtag “#EveryIngredientMatters”. Winners will be chosen by the public via a Facebook poll vote by 7pm Friday 25 September. There are more than $1200 worth of prizes to be won!
Today's Humans of Agriculture podcast features long term Royal Melbourne Show beef cattle exhibitors and father and son team, Ray and Dion Brook. Ray owns and manages the “Eloora” Shorthorn stud operation with his wife Jill. Dion owns and manages the “Kiama” property and supports the Eloora Shorthorns operation with marketing and genetic recording.

Day 9 Sunday 27 September - Woodchop & Volunteers sponsored by VicForests
The Royal Melbourne Show Woodchop Championships is an iconic event that leaves patrons in awe of the skill and speed on display. There are finals of all Woodchop events on each of the 11 days of Show, but the final Sunday is when the winners receive their awards including the coveted ‘Golden Axe’. Tune into the interview with Woodchop personality Darrell Meyer and learn more about this iconic sport.
Throughout the day, you will see images and stories of the wonderful Show volunteers and State Emergency Services personnel that contribute their time to help deliver the Royal Melbourne Show.
