Want to see real life prize-winning bulls or cows up close? The Livestock Pavilion will be packed with the biggest blue ribbon competitors from Saturday 29 September – Tuesday 2 October. 

These gentle giants will compete in a diverse range of premium beef cattle events including the Red Poll Feature Show, the prestigious Interbreed Championship on Monday 1 October, the Calf Classic (too cute!) and more.

Teamwork is key in the Waterford Charolais Youth Challenge. Each team is appointed a mentor and under their guidance must fully wash, groom and prepare an animal for the ring, all under the watchful eye of the judges. The team must also lead and handle the animal while the judging takes place. Teams are split by the breeds they represent and judged on how well they work together, delegate tasks and manage their time.
