Cows will be milked.
Eggs will be laid.
Brains will be nurtured.
The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) has announced that the 2010 Royal Melbourne Show will be held from Saturday 18 September to Tuesday 28 September at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
Traditionally beginning the Thursday prior to school holidays, the scheduling of next year's event has been moved to encompass the second week of the school holidays, making it even more accessible for a greater number of young families to attend. This will mean that there will be no formal Schools’ Days program in 2010.
There are still many unique and memorable experiences for students of all ages, to extend learning across all disciplines. Bringing the country to the city, the Royal Melbourne Show delivers the perfect environment to learn about prize winning Victorian agriculture and produce in a fun and interactive atmosphere.
Interactive Education Highlights include the free Farm Discovery Trail, a visit to the NAB Animal Nursery, milking a cow in the Milking Barn, amazing Arts and Crafts in the Art, Craft & Cookery Pavilion, Interactive Animal Demonstrations, the Victorian Government Expo and many more.
